Be clear about the objective
A temporary access lane and long-term pasture reclamation can need different treatments. Top-growth removal opens an area, but it should not be sold as a guaranteed permanent solution.
Understand the root question
Mesquite can resprout after top removal. Mechanical grubbing targets root material but disturbs the soil and adds material handling and backfill work. The treatment needs to match the site and desired use.
Allow for follow-up
Inspect for returning growth and new seedlings. Local extension guidance can help with a longer-term management plan. Our initial advertised scope covers mechanical work, not chemical application.
Tell us what is there
Photos of the plant size and density, a work-area estimate and a description of the intended pasture or access use are useful starting points. Include rocks, fences and wet areas that affect machinery.
